Tour Information
It's been 3 years of hard work and dedication, but Phase I and
Phase II are now completed at the International Pancake Day Hall
of Fame.

| Mindi Ormiston, Treasurer and Janice Northerns
put their heads together during the first Board Meeting in
the newly completed Board Meeting Room. |
Phase II has included the complete reconstruction
of the second story to include: an interactive viewing room for
the showing of short films about Pancake Day; a new Board Room
which will accommodate approximately 20-25 people; an office for
the operation of the facility and an additional restroom.
This is the first time in 58 years that the Pancake Day Board
has had their own Board Meeting Room. The Board has had many generous
supporters over the years that have graciously allowed us to use
their facilities.
We are still in awe that we have been able to have completed as
much of this project as we have in a 3 year period of time. Thus
far, we have: purchased the property; poured a new basement and
foundation; moved the house back 36 feet onto the new foundation;
completely gutted the first and second story of the structure,
restoring both floors; added a storage area to the original house;
poured concrete parking on the South; added a 15 foot covered
front porch and completely landscaped the property.
None of this would have been possible if it were not for the generosity
of many groups and individuals. We would like to especially thank
the Cooper-Clark Foundation for their continued support of our
project. They were the first group to "catch the vision"
and have continued to see the project through.
Next year at this time, I hope to be writing an update about Phase
III. This will include adding a glassed-in 15 foot, two story
addition to the front of the building where the front porch currently
is. The additional space will provide and additional stairway
to the second story indoor viewing area, an elevator and more
floor space for exhibits. We hope that you will take the opportunity
to tour the Hall of Fame. You may schedule tours by contacting:
